This article provides a brief overview of adolescence. It highlights the key physical changes related to puberty and identifies latest understanding neurological development in young people. is also recognised, within article, that this period rapid change can have an impact on social emotional wellbeing. There are conditions typically onset during adolescence, examples offered. The term ‘adolescence’ used describe stage growth ‘young people’ throughout refer individuals.
